An afternoon of R&R… merely got me motivated to move into HIGHER level of AI usage

💡 🎓 An afternoon of R&R… merely got me motivated to move into HIGHER level of AI usage

Okay, so AI has revolutionised my ability to:

✅ to source, to screen, to analyse, to develop spreadsheets, to format

and

✅ see things far better and more clearly and faster than ever before

BUT it is passive…

I feel like I am spoon-feeding instructions and directing information and files everywhere — it is a bit of an administrative bore…

This afternoon sitting out under my deck in my hanging egg chair I explored MCP (tipped off by Daniel Kinnoch).

Claude has now become active… he is real and roaming around inside my computer 🤫 .

No more jostling between Perplexity, Excel, and Claude, or deciding on Manus versus Gemini… or folder systems..

BUT before I go much further, it is time to REMOVE and back-up critical folders… what happens if he doesn’t play by the rules?

Integrating AI within my system as an agent hasn’t been that hard at all, I just started… slowly…. there are no ‘schools’ or tutors that I know of, just people sharing.

Next task is to transfer exactly the same way to my other desktop system and get the man working…

About the author
Kirsty Merriman
For years I would plan houses, travel widely and observe communities. I also had the privilege of working for New Zealand's largest dairy company in both New Zealand and Malaysia. All the while supported by my husband and young daughter. After a while, our roles swapped and we moved to the Arabian Gulf. Meanwhile my passion for property and communities continued to simmer.

Along came COVID and had no choice but to pivot... in the words of Robert Frost, I looked for and "found the road less travelled by" and decided that maybe I could "make [a] the difference".

I look for to find insights and built a few of the houses that we need. This means a saleable house and a profitable and sustainable business.
