📣 🚰 ADVICE wanted to get some data from Veolia in Papakura

When Auckland went REDZONE, Watercare Services Limited responded.

Developers and elected council members rallied to try and help get information released so the extent of the fresh water and waste water problem could be made clear to OUR CITY.

Meanwhile, the same issue had plagued PAPAKURA for MUCH LONGER.

Nobody is helping there!

I know of people that have resource consents stating that there is infrastructure available.

The developers then come to get their EPA and they are BLOCKED unless they spend into the 💰 HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS to upgrade local and even some transmission scale lines.

One developer is trying to get information that others in Auckland were able to get under Watercare. I have been following their story for quite some time now. It appears that they are being stonewalled.

Merely the ‘actual’ capacity data and measurements that Veolia are stating means that a full line upgrade is required.

How do you make the technical team from the Veolia Development Engineers?

All advice welcomed.

And further…

Auckland Council, why don’t you treat Papakura with the same care that you do the rest of Auckland?

Why are resource consents approved by Auckland Council yet connections denied. Watercare didn’t do this to Auckland yet they let it happen in Papakura.

For years I would plan houses, travel widely and observe communities. I also had the privilege of working for New Zealand's largest dairy company in both New Zealand and Malaysia. All the while supported by my husband and young daughter. After a while, our roles swapped and we moved to the Arabian Gulf. Meanwhile my passion for property and communities continued to simmer.

Along came COVID and had no choice but to pivot... in the words of Robert Frost, I looked for and "found the road less travelled by" and decided that maybe I could "make [a] the difference".

I look for to find insights and built a few of the houses that we need. This means a saleable house and a profitable and sustainable business.
